We’ve developed a patented reinforcement system to increase the door’s stiffness and prevent warping.
For larger doors, we’ve created a thickness chart based on the door’s dimensions to maintain the stiffness to height ratio so there is no risk of warping.
A mechanical engineer calculated the moments of inertia for each design taking into account the dimensions and stiffness of each component.
The theoretical moments of inertia were then verified with a physical test, that consisted of applying a static charge to each part and measuring the deflection using a dial gauge. The results of the physical tests were within +/- 2% of the theoretical calculations.
